Mark Raes

Head of Product

Mark Raes is MD, Head of Product covering ETFs, mutual funds, and pooled products at BMO Global Asset Management. Mark is responsible for product analysis, new launches, supporting distribution activities and identifying investor opportunities. Mark supports BMO ETFs globally. He previously was an ETF portfolio manager focused on fixed income and derivatives. Mark holds a HBBA from Wilfrid Laurier University, and a MBA from York University. He has also received his CFA designation.

Joseph Idaszak
Brookfield Asset Management
Vice President, Global Infrastructure Securities

Joseph Idaszak has 9 years of industry experience and is a Vice President on the Public Securities Group’s Infrastructure Securities team. Joseph is a dedicated research analyst for the Global Renewables & Sustainable Infrastructure team. He is also responsible for covering North American and European infrastructure securities focusing on the Utilities, Renewables, Clean Technology and Social Infrastructure sectors. Prior to joining the firm in 2016, Joseph was an Investment Associate at Silverpath Capital Management where he focused on Renewables, Utilities and MLPs. Prior to that, he was an Investment Banking Analyst at Goldman, Sachs & Co. where he focused on Renewables, Clean Technology, Industrials and Healthcare. Joseph earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Notre Dame.

Matthew Wenman
Director, Global Real Estate Securities,
Public Securities Group

Matthew Wenman has 15 years of industry experience and is a Director on the Public Securities Group’s Real Estate Securities team. Matthew is a Product Specialist for the firm’s real estate investment strategies. Working in partnership with the real estate portfolio management team, he is involved in the marketing and positioning of the firm’s real estate products to the global investment community. Matthew is also responsible for portfolio and market analytics, and maintaining the team’s securities valuation models. Matthew previously worked as an analyst on the Real Estate Securities team covering both U.S. and international real estate securities. He joined the firm in 2006and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. Matthew earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, both from the University of Colorado Boulder.
